Coke is worth about $1.46 per share at the moment. To be fair, Coke’s stock price has fallen significantly due to its sales declining by 3% in 2016 according to an article in Fortune Magazine. Coke stated that this drop can be attributed to milk being pushed as a better option for children before school. However, it seems that Coca-Cola North America President James Quincy states that he expects “sales of Coke Classic and Diet Coke should increase thanks to major sporting events like the Olympics”. The SEC filing under Forms 8K states that Cohen commented he expects ‘strategic investments’ will help Coca-Cola lead the country over their competitors despite other private report which states there are newer companies producing healthier sugar containing drinks.
